“Buddy CS8” is attached a detection and a transfer equipment in the size of a matchbox, to collar of the animal. Possibility one: A call with of Europe largest domestic animal central register TASSO registered association. The society for the prevention of cruelty to animals maintains a 24-Stunden-Notrufzentrale. The owner of dog notifies there simply his names and his password. Later a TASSO coworker knows few minutes exactly, where the dog straight is, for example “on the main street at height of the house number 10” or “in Kleinkleckersdorf in the Wäldchen beside the brook”. It locates the animal with a detection portal developed particularly for the animal detection.
Possibility two: If the owner of dog has an Internet entrance, it logs in in the detection portal of ANIVIS and can query the current government inspection department coordinates of the place of residence of the dog. On the screen a map appears, in which the present position of the dog is marked.
Possibility three: The dog owner sends a SMS from its mobile phone to the “Buddy CS8”, which its dog carries to collar. The Buddy CS8 determines the government inspection department coordinates and sends these to the detection portal of ANIVIS. The detection portal sends then the government inspection department coordinates with place, road and house number as SMS or additionally with map cutout as MMS on to mobile phone of the dog owner. All this happens in approx. 90 seconds!
Possibility four: In extensive areas without genuine reference points such as roads or watercourses the positioning is sometimes quite difficult on the basis a map. In such cases the owner of dog can let itself be led owing to “Buddy CS8” to his dog. The detection portal sends a SMS with the current geo coordinates in the plain language to it on its mobile phone. These can be entered now into nearly each commercial government inspection department navigation system, which indicates then direction and distance to the run away dog.
That costs the detection
The detection system is offered in three different price variants: “Buddy CS8” with portable radio contract (24 months) costs 299.00 euro, without contract 470.00 euro. Who orders „Buddy CS8 “by 28 February 2007, 100.00 euro each can save. In addition the system can be financed by hire purchase. At the time of two-year running time and conclusion of a portable radio contract the monthly rate is with 14,95 euro (until 28 February 2007 only 9.95 euro).
Since “Buddy CS8” an adequate Handy module contains, for it naturally also monthly basic charges become due by the Mobilfunkprovider. Are about 9,95 euro per month (KombiComfort tariff of Vodafone).
For the detection of the own mobile phone costs in the Ortugsportal of 0,10 euro (government inspection department detection) and 0.49 euro (GSM detection) arise. For a detection from the detection portal - no matter whether by TASSO or the dog owner - it develops additional costs of 0,19 euro of a SMS. The forwarding of map material by E-Mail costs 0.05 euro, those to the detection address including lengthening and degree of latitude by SMS 0.19 euro.
